Farm Mechanization Training Centre - Puliyankulama, Anuradhapura
The Farm Mechanics Training Centre (FMTC) is the only national-level training institute in Sri Lanka dealing with farm machinery. Established in 1971 as a collaborative effort between the West German government and the Government of Sri Lanka, this institute is located in Puliyankulama, Anuradhapura. Spanning an area of 17 hectares, it is equipped with modern training facilities, including a model farm, a driving/training track, training fields, a modern hostel complex, and lecture halls. The Farm Mechanics Training Centre has the capacity to provide food and accommodation for approximately 80 trainees at a time.
