This variety shows superior pod qualities compared to local varieties and comparable with imported varieties.

It is most suitable for cultivation in mid country Intermediate and Wet zone in Sri Lanka. This variety has high yield potential (20-31t/ha). The variety HORDI Pokuru has high farmer and consumer preference due its favorable pod qualities like light green colour, round shape and medium size.
