With the National Reading Month 2022, Central Agriculture Library of National Agriculture Information and Communication Centre of Department of Agriculture organized a drawing, essay writing and power point presentation preparation competition called “Haritha Yaya” for school children. Certificate and prize distribution ceremony for students who won the above mentioned competition was held on 19th December 2022 at National Agriculture Information and Communication Centre, under the patronage of Director General of Agriculture Mrs. H.M.J Ilankoon Menike.

More than 150 students received prizes and certificates, and invited presentation was done by retired Senior Professor of Sinhala Section, University of Peradeniya prof. Aththanayake M. Herath.
