The project inception workshop on Tomato hybrid seed production project held on 16^th February 2023  at Oak Ray Regency Hotel, Kandy. The workshop was Co-chaired by Ms. Malathi Parasuraman, The Director General of Agriculture and Mr. Kang Chulgoo, the Director, KOPIA  centre Sri Lanka and many officials from DoA and KOPIA centre participated at the event.The project will be implemented during year 2023-2025 with the desired outcome of reducing tomato seed importation to Sri Lanka.
