Commencement of duties in the year 2024 was held on 01.01.2024 at the Head Office premises of the Department of Agriculture under the patronage of the Director General of Agriculture, Miss Malathy Parasuraman, giving priority to religious observances.

Simultaneously, duties were commenced in all the Regional Offices of the Department of Agriculture.
