A workshop on “Climate Resilient Agricultural Technologies” introduced by the Department of Agriculture was held on 04.04.2024 at Hector Kobbekaduwa Agricultural Affairs Research and Training Institute under the patronage of Hon. Minister of Agriculture and Plantation Industries Mahinda Amaraweera.

Information were presented attractively about the varieties of crops that can be successfully grown in different climatic conditions introduced by the Department of Agriculture, new technologies introduced to successfully combat climate change and how to efficiently provide information to stakeholders including farmers.

State Minister of Agriculture Plantation Industries Mohan De Silva, Secretary to the Ministry of Agricultural Plantations and a number of officials from various departments and institutions related to the agriculture sector were also present on the occasion.
