School of Agriculture kundasale, which is the oldest among the Sri Lankan schools of Agriculture was established in 1948. It is doing great job to produce human recourses as medium level technicians for the agriculture sector locally and abroad, will complete 75 years in the year 2023.

As the opening program of the 75th anniversary celebrations, an all-night pirith sajjayana was offered on 27.01.2023 followed by almsgiving for 75 monks. The 79/81 student batch sponsored the almsgiving on behalf of the past students of school of Agriculture. All principals, lecturers, students and academic and non-academic staff who contributed to the 75 years of Agriculture College mission were also felicitated.

A large number of officers from Department of Agriculture, including Mr. Jagath Sudasinghe, Director of Extension and Training Division and past students also participated for this special event.
