Director General of Agriculture comments on providing nutrients for a green farming
Main Plant nutrients such as Nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and essential micro elements that are required to ensure the growth and the final product of plants are need to be supplied. It is expected that the potassium requirement will be met in mineral form as potassium chloride and the nitrogen requirement will be met by liquid fertilizer.
The Director General of Agriculture stated that the amount of phosphorus present in the soil is sufficient to meet the phosphorus requirement of paddy cultivation and if it is not sufficient, the soil test kits should be used to test the soil and provide the required amount of phosphorus.
