This website was created using modern technologies with an emphasis on user usability in order to disseminate the most up-to-date agricultural information. On October 21, 2021, the Director General of Agriculture Department, Dr. Ajantha de Silva launched the new website, which was initiated and implemented by the National Agriculture Information & Communication Center with the subjective collaboration of Agriculture service officials and with the development assistance of Information and Communication Technology Officers and Information and Communication Technology Assistants in each institute of the Department.
