Keeping quality is high
This variety is officially released in 2019. The new variety has attractive red colour fruit with thick pericarp. Hence it has long shelf life. It can be kept about month at outside without shrink. The yield can be reached to 61 t/ha.
Thilina
Has a semi determinate type growth. Fruit is high round heart shape, red orange colour and per fruit weight is around 85 g. Has a thick pericarp hence, rarely observe cracks on fruits. Resistant to bacterial wilt. Potential yield reach up to 40 t/ha.
KWR
Bush type variety, Resistant to bacterial wilt. Average fruit weight is about 50 g. Post harvest loss is high due to thin peel.
T245
Bush type variety. Average fruit weight is about 85 g. Flat, orange red colour fruit with relatively thick peel. Show resistant to bacterial wilt, nematode attack and leaf curl virus.
Ravi
Determinate type. Fruits are dark red in Colour, medium in size and average fruit weight is about 43 g. Susceptible to wilt
