Provision of seed paddy samples of new rice varities

Rice growing farmers, agriculture field officers

How to obtain the service

(i) For information on new varieties, inquire from RRDI or find out through media published or call 1920 toll free service.

(ii) Request samples from RRDI. Seeds that are tested for germination could be issued for multiplication and, after the multiplication farmers can use them for large scale cultivation.

iii) Only 1Kg per farmer is issued.
