Screening of rice lines for bacterial blight resistance

Bacterial leaf blight (BLB) caused by Xanthomonas oryzae pv oryzae is the most common bacterial disease in Sri Lanka. Since chemical control is still not possible, development of the host resistance is the most economical, effective and environmentally friendly option.
