Field evaluation of comparatively safer insecticides/acaricides /nematicides for major rice pest

The Institute has recommended different integrated pest management strategies for each rice pest. However, chemical pest management is also important to be used at high pest population levels and also in commercial agriculture. Therefore, insecticides which were approved by the pesticide sub-committee need to be tested by the respective research Institute.
