SCS தலைமை இடங்கள்
எஸ்சிஎஸ் ஒரு மையப்படுத்தப்படாத அமைப்பைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்தது. கன்னோருவிலுள்ள தலைமை அலுவலகத்தில், மத்திய நிர்வாகத்தைக் காணலாம். வேளாண்மைத் துறையின் பிற பிரிவுகளுடன் நெருக்கமான ஒத்துழைப்புடன், ஒட்டுமொத்த இலங்கைக்கும் ஆய்வு விதிமுறைகள் வழங்கப்படுகின்றன. பிராந்திய அதிகாரிகள் மற்றும் விதை பரிசோதனை ஆய்வகங்கள் மூலம் உண்மையான ஆய்வு, மாதிரிகள் வரைதல், விதை சோதனை போன்றவை செய்யப்படுகின்றன. SCS ஊழியர்களின் மொத்த எண்ணிக்கை சுமார் 491 ஆகும்.
புல ஆய்வாளர் பிரிவு
கள ஆய்வு என்பது விதைச் சான்றிதழ் நடைமுறையின் அடிப்படையாகும். விதை வளர்ப்பவர்களின் பதிவு, (அரசு பண்ணை, ஒப்பந்த விவசாயிகள் மற்றும் தனியார் விவசாயிகள்), நிற்கும் பயிரின் ஆய்வு, நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்ட விதை விதிகள் மற்றும் தரங்களைப் பயன்படுத்தி, அறுவடைக்கு பிந்தைய செயல்பாடுகளை கண்காணித்தல் மற்றும் ஆய்வக சோதனைக்கு விதை இடங்களின் பிரதிநிதி மாதிரிகள் ஆய்வாளர்களின் முக்கிய பொறுப்புகள். ஒவ்வொரு பிராந்தியத்திற்கும், வீட்டுவசதி, போக்குவரத்து மற்றும் அலுவலகம் கிடைக்கின்றன. இந்த சேவைகளுக்கு ஒரு பெயரளவு கட்டணம் வசூலிக்கப்படும்.
விதை நிறைய விதை ஆய்வகத்தின் ஒப்புதலைப் பெற்ற பிறகு; அதை வெளியிட முடியும். எஸ்சிஎஸ் இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் அல்லது அவரது உதவியாளர் ஒவ்வொரு விதை கொள்கலனுக்கும் (எ.கா. கன்னி பை) சீல் வைத்து அதிகாரப்பூர்வ எஸ்சிஎஸ் லேபிளை தொங்க விடுங்கள். SCS லேபிள் மற்றும் சீல் வைத்திருக்கும் பைகள் மட்டுமே விதை விதிகளில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ள தரத்திற்கு உத்தரவாதம் அளிக்கப்படுகின்றன.
இரண்டு ஆய்வகங்களும் ISTA (சர்வதேச விதை சோதனை சங்கம்) விதிகள் மற்றும் விதிமுறைகளின்படி தங்கள் சோதனைகளை மேற்கொள்கின்றன. நவீன உபகரணங்கள் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டு ஊழியர்களுக்கு வெளிநாட்டில் பயிற்சி அளிக்கப்படுகிறது. ஆண்டுக்கு மொத்தம் 24,000 மாதிரிகள் சோதிக்கப்படுகின்றன.
பல்வேறு பிரிவு
SCS இன் இந்த பிரிவு முக்கியமாக இலங்கையில் விதைக்காக பயிரிடப்படும் பயிர்களின் வகைகள் மற்றும் ஒரு விளக்கத்தை உருவாக்குகிறது. அவர்களின் கண்டுபிடிப்புகள் எஸ்சிஎஸ் கையேடு பகுதி 11 இல் வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளது மற்றும் புல ஆய்வாளர்கள் புலத்தில் உள்ள இனங்களை எளிதில் அடையாளம் காணக்கூடிய வகைகள் மற்றும் ஒப்பீட்டு அட்டவணைகள் வரைதல் ஆகியவை அடங்கும்.
இந்த பிரிவின் முக்கிய கடமைகள்:
1. வளர்ப்பாளர் விதை சான்றிதழ்
2. DUS (தனித்தன்மை, சீரான தன்மை, நிலைத்தன்மை) சோதனை
3. பிந்தைய கட்டுப்பாட்டு சோதனை
மேலே உள்ள கடமைகளில் நெல், மற்ற வயல் பயிர்கள் மற்றும் காய்கறிகள் சேர்க்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
பயிற்சி மற்றும் விழிப்புணர்வு நிகழ்ச்சிகளுக்கான வள நபர்களாக கலந்து கொள்ளவும் மற்றும் SCS இன் குளிர் சேமிப்பை பராமரிக்கவும் இந்த பிரிவின் கூடுதல் கடமைகள்.
முதல் விதை சுகாதார சோதனை அலகு மார்ச் 2012 இல் இலங்கையில் விதைச் சான்றிதழ் சேவையால் நிறுவப்பட்டது.
வற்றாத பயிர் பிரிவு
பரிந்துரைக்கப்பட்ட வேளாண் துறை வகைகளைச் சேர்ந்த எஸ்சிஎஸ் சான்றளிக்கப்பட்ட ஒட்டப்பட்ட பழச் செடிகள்.
இந்த பிரிவு முக்கியமாக தன்னை ஆக்கிரமித்துள்ளது
1. பழ தாவர நர்சரிகளின் பதிவு.
2. தாய் செடிகளின் தேர்வு மற்றும் பதிவு
3. பழ செடி லேபிளிங்
4. விழிப்புணர்வு மற்றும் பயிற்சி நிகழ்ச்சிகளை நடத்துதல்.
தரவு மேலாண்மை பிரிவு
தீவு முழுவதும் அமைந்துள்ள 24 பிராந்திய அலகுகள், 5 விதை சோதனை ஆய்வகங்கள் மற்றும் 6 போஸ்ட் கண்ட்ரோல் யூனிட்டுகளிலிருந்து தரவைச் சேகரித்தல், செயலாக்குதல், மதிப்பீடு செய்தல் மற்றும் வைத்திருத்தல் ஆகியவற்றுக்காக இந்தப் பிரிவு கணக்கிடப்பட்டது.
பயிற்சி பிரிவு
எஸ்சிஎஸ் தரமான விதை மணல் நடவு பொருட்களின் உற்பத்தி குறித்த அதிகாரிகள் மற்றும் விதை கையாளுபவர்களின் அறிவை மேம்படுத்துவதற்கான பயிற்சித் திட்டங்களை தொடர்ந்து நடத்துகிறது.

SL-GAP சான்றிதழ் பிரிவு
- இலங்கை நல்ல விவசாய நடைமுறைகள் (SL-GAP) சான்றிதழ் “பாதுகாப்பான உணவு மற்றும் நல்ல ஆரோக்கியத்திற்காக”
- இந்த எஸ்எல் ஜிஏபி சான்றிதழ் அனைத்து நல்ல விவசாய நடைமுறைகளையும் பயிரிடுதல் முதல் பண்ணை வாயிலில் உற்பத்தி செய்வது வரை உள்ளடக்கியது.

After certification all accepted lots belonging to the registered seed class or of a higher generation are sampled for post control exercises. This sample is grown out on one of the SCS trial fields. During the growing season they are assessed and the information is passed on to the field inspectorate. The certified and standard seed lots are sampled and planted out on an at random base. The results are used for the internal checking of the SCS inspection and testing service.
