Information and Communication Centre of the Department of Agriculture started on 2012 at the head office complex DOA, Peradeniya. After the establishment of a new building in Gannoruwa. ICC office was moved to Gannoruwa. The vision of ICC is achieve excellence in using ICTs in Agriculture for national prosperity. The main activities of the ICC are collection, compilation and dissemination of agriculture information though electronic media, Develop softwear, solutions/ database for information management and also to conduct exhibitions and maintain Agriculture technology park. Units under the ICC are NAICC, Farm Broadcasting Services, Agro Technological Park Gannoruwa, Bataatha and Agriculture publication unit.

- creating a more citizen centric good governance
Objective of the National Agriculture Information and Communication Centre (NAICC)are collection, compilation and dissemination of agriculture information through electronic and print media, Develop e-solutions, software solutions/database for information management and also to conduct exhibitions and maintain Agriculture Technology Parks.
